We’ve all done it…

Promoted a coaching package from a place of doubt and worry that nobody will invest in it.

Posted “client attraction” content from a place of lack, resentment, and desperation.

Sat at the laptop for hours trying to force productivity, creativity, and inspiration only to walk away in frustration having accomplished nothing.

Maybe you feel some of this now! Everything feels slow incoming!

It’s essential to understand how important your state of being is to your state of doing and your productivity

Being is everything. Truth.

When you think about what you want to create for your life and business…

Who must you become in order to manifest your vision?

“𝙒𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙘𝙞𝙤𝙪𝙨𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨” – Rev. Michael Beckwith.

What are those traits that you beat yourself up about?

Here are the most common ones that come up time and again for my clients:

  • Inconsistency
  • Undisciplined
  • Disorganized
  • Overwhelmed
  • Confused / Stuck
  • Fearful

Do you find yourself complaining about how you are some (or all) of these traits and wishing you weren’t?

It’s OK, we all do at times! But let’s look at how you can shift the needle immediately.

What if you were to become more intentional?

What if you were to shift your focus and consciously embrace their opposites?

What if you played the game of envisioning yourself as:

  • Consistent
  • Focused
  • Organised
  • Clear minded
  • Productive
  • Confident?

What if you consciously chose to speak about yourself ONLY in terms of having those qualities?

What you’re doing is identifying as the person you’re becoming, which shifts your frequency and your focus…
…And your state of being!

You become your very own superhero!

Before I started to create any systems for myself relating to my finances, I self-identified as someone who “couldn’t stick at anything”.

I’d beat myself up for being disorganized and having no self-control.

I had countless unfinished courses in my inbox and half-read books on my shelves.

To add to my prevailing evidence of lack of commitment I also frequently failed at becoming Tea-total, bombed at going vegetarian, and my filing systems were set up in good faith, only to be abandoned within a matter of a few short weeks.

But when I began to understand Being Vs Doing I decided to tackle my messy finance systems, which at first felt unduly overwhelming.

Once I made the decision to start with my finances, all I did was write in my journal all of the qualities of the person I needed to become.

I chose to imagine myself as the type of person who has impeccable systems for managing her finances.

I focused on being one who is in control and masterful around money I chose to describe myself in terms of being organized and always on top of my game, and I breathed deeper and envisioned myself calmer when dealing with my finances.

I then gave my new identity some names: the Wise Wealth Sage, the Money Master, the Director of Finance!

I didn’t do anything initially; I just enjoyed this process.

Within a few days I was itching, literally chomping on the bit, to get into my laptop and tidy the hell out of my money systems!

But I didn’t:

I just stayed with the new identity and the vision of who I wanted to become.

Mainly because I still didn’t know what the actual filing was going to look like or HOW I was going to do it.

Then one morning, 5 days in this process, I woke up with such clarity – I saw it all.

I knew exactly what I had to do!

I contacted my accountant and we sorted out my finances together, I got set up on some new accounting software and we discussed all the areas that I had felt overwhelmed by, giving me a newfound sense of clarity and understanding.

I then set a calendar reminder 3 times a week to review my bank account. Not necessary but I was flexing a new muscle.

It all felt so easy!!

I felt on top, in control, and more considered in my actions around my finances.

But what happened next was profound.

As I started to focus on the other tasks that I needed to get done, I started to get ideas and take action in ways that all felt so fast, easy and systematic.

I was like a snowplow, slaying these tasks and feeling unstoppable.

I started new projects in my business and my whole approach to productivity was far more systematic, considered and well-thought-out, and planned.

I was operating as the Sage and the Director in other areas of my life.

Of course, action will need to be taken but when we first manage our state of being, all our doing will be supported by the right frequency – this means attracting the energy, the clarity, the inspiration, the ideas, the people, the resources and anything else we need to fulfill our vision!!

In this way, you’ll optimize your effectiveness, your productivity, and your joy in the doing!

Hope you found this helpful!!
